Meet Ken and Jason

Ken Giavara has been teaching tennis in San Diego since 1998. He has developed many of the top ranked players in the section, as well as the nation. Ken loves developing any level of student and takes pride in his teaching expertise. Ken graduated from The University of Hartford with a B.A. in Communications. He was the number one tennis player at the school and still has the record for all-time highest winning percentage. Ken also played Division One basketball at Northeastern University. The team was ranked in the top twenty in the nation and played in the March Madness tournament twice. Ken is one of the few athletes to have won two Division One conference titles at two different sports

Jason Giavara was the San Diego Male player of the year in 2005. He has been teaching tennis in San Diego since 2001. Jason has wins over Sam Querry and many other top professionals. He was the number one player at the University of Coastal Carolina. Jason was named All-Conference three years in a row, and Conference Player of the Year his senior year. After college Jason played on the professional circuit, where he was ranked #850 in the world. Jason graduated with a B.S. in Finance.

Ken and Jason believe in the long term development of the child. They have dedicated their careers to the improvement and success of each individual student. Their teachings and mentoring go beyond the tennis court, and they truly care about the personal growth of all their students.
